MPP announces First Auditions for 2025 season!

The Montford Park Players is pleased to announce auditions for its 53rd  Season! 

Shows and performance dates are: Open                 Show 5/9 – 5/31       The Book of Will, by Lauren Gunderson, directed by Adam Kampouris 6/6 –  6/28      Merry Wives of Windsor, directed by Cody Fox 7/4 – 8/2         A Midsummer Night’s Dream (5 weeks), directed by Glenna Grant The following shows will audition later in the season: 8/8 – 8/30       Cyrano de Bergerac, directed by Mandy Bean 9/5 – 9/27       King Lear, directed by Jason Williams 10/3 – 10/25   She Kills Monsters, by Qui Nguyen, directed by Deanna Braine Smith

Please note that ALL roles are open to ALL actors!

All Actors must submit the 2025 Audition Form, below.

Auditions for the first three shows  are currently scheduled for January 25 from 12:15 – 3:30 pm, location Attic Salt Theatre, 2002 Riverside Dr studio 42-O, Asheville, NC 28804.

Video Audition Upload- Actors unable to attend the in-person auditions on January 25 should upload a short video audition below:

Actors will upload one Shakespeare monologue no longer than 60-90 seconds. It is NOT recommended that you use a monologue for the character for whom you’re applying. Record in landscape, ensure you’re well lit, and with a neutral background.  Please speak in your natural voice; no accents! Say your name, perform the monologues, then say your name again. You MUST rename the file with your name.
