Thanks for making our 2009 Season an amazing success!

Thanks to you, our audience, we entertained over 10,200 patrons this year, an increase of 50% over last year, and our production of A Midsummer Night's Dream was voted Best Play of 2009 by the readers of Mountain Xpress!  Additionally, we led the nation once again in percentage attendance increase among outdoor theatres - once again The Fastest Growing Outdoor Theatre in America!

We were proud to present "The Stalwart Women of Shakespeare", as a quintet of female directors took the stage to present some of Will's best-known leading ladies.  In the photo, L-R: Top Row, Stephanie Hickling, directing Macbeth, Trinity Smith as Lady Macbeth, Lauren Kriel as Imogen and Charlotte Lawrence directing Cymbeline; Bottom Row: Mandy Phillips as Hermia AND directing The Asheville Shakesperience, Rhonda Parker directing A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hazel Robinson, Founder and the "First Lady of Asheville Theatre", Mary Dillon directing Taming of The Shrew, and Rae Cauthen as Kate.
